RADIANT HEATING

Simply put, it is the heating of a space via circulating hot water through tubing. Tubing, typically PEX, is placed in the floor, walls and/or ceilings. The fluid is heated by mechanical means: boiler, heat pump, geo-thermal, solar or any number of means. What follows is not meant to be a comprehensive discourse on all methods of radiant heating. I will touch on a few of the standard methods. There is plenty of information on manufacture's websites for deeper knowledge.
